This is another one of those strips that can't be made up. This entire conversation really took place during a Facebook chat between HM and our British friend, Nicholas. Now, I don't know what is with Europeans but damn. Really?!

Because seriously...sneaking up on me is the LAST thing a person wants (nee probably will EVER again) do.
I am what you might call skittish.
My knee jerk reaction to being snuck up on is to throw an elbow **HM - "To lash out irrationally?" ** So, the only really safe creature in the house is the cat (to be introduced in the strip soon) who has a bell on her collar.
I'm with you. Everyone in my house knows... A) "don't sneak up on mom" and B) "if mom yells 'who's here?'...answer loudly and clearly and keep answering until she acknowledges". It's not my fault if someone gets hurt.
