STRIP: The Sweet Sweet Siren Song of Girl Scout Cookies

Yeah...that was me about three days ago. Surrendering to the siren song of sweet tasty cookie awesomeness. Two boxes of Tag-A-Longs didn't make it 48 hours.

Not my proudest moment.

Not my worst but certainly not my best.

Aside from that, some big things happening for Nerdy Goth Says What? this week. If you check out the link bar towards the top of the page you will see a link about a store front. That will take you HERE. This is where you can buy your NGSW? swag. We will be continuing to add items to the store as we can. Waiting to hear back on my messenger bag design. Right now, you can find Battie's signature "Got Bats?" shirt and the Portal 2 strip on some shirts as well.

Our store is powered by Spreadshirt, which I can tell from experience makes an excellent product. I made the ORIGINAL "When asking nicely doesn't work..." shirt there almost 6 years ago and it is still looking great. So, please, show your support and help us keep building and improving on our site and the strip by purchasing a little something from the shop!

Sorry for the late post. We were detained at a birthday in a skating rink. There was pain. There was laughter. There was free wi-fi. But, we still managed topost in a timely manner. Enjoy and see you Wednesday!

STRIP: Step 2 The Darien Initiative

It just so happens that today is the real life Darien's actual birthday. I hadn't planned to do this set on her birthday, but when I realized that part two was going to land on it, I thought "That is a pretty damn awesome birthday present!"

So, HAPPY BIRTHDAY DARIEN!! Hope it is a fantastic one!!

Now, I gotta get ready to go to my day job. See you guys on Sunday!

STRIP: Twelve Step Program in Two Easy Steps

So, first things first, we have a guest star in the strip this week. My darling friend, Darien, you might remember the post about her shop HERE Well, this week's strip is all about two things.

1) The recent rash of desperation laden attempts at viewers through the use of weird, obscure, and ultimately fucking disturbing obsessions/addictions/what have you.

2) My own personal addiction to argyle.

Now, I love my brain fluff. You know, shows like "Toddlers and Tiaras", "Little Miss Perfect", and "Wipeout". Shows that have no hope whatsoever in enriching humanity as a whole, but damnit they make me laugh/relax. However, we tried to watch one of those weird obsession shows the other day and I just COULD NOT stop cringing while watching it. I made HM turn it off.

It was too disturbing.

And that is pretty bad from the girl that thought "Drag Me To Hell" was the funniest thing she had seen in a LONG time.

That being said, I do own an almost absurd amount of argyle. Socks, tights, and even cardigans. Thankfully, I am fairly certain my addiction to argyle is not likely to become life threatening....I think. I hope. I would be very sad if I had to give up argyle for health purposes.

There would be a moment of consideration but I am pretty sure I would fall off the argyle wagon.

ANYWAY, Wednesday will tell the tale. Will Darien be able to help Battie with her addiction? Will Battie and her loved ones be lost in an argyle nightmare? Wait and see!
